50 MILLIARDS AUX USA ! 

Le président russe de la Fédération mondiale de jeux d’échecs (Fide) Kirsan Ilioumjinov a annoncé mardi son intention de réclamer 50 milliards $ aux États-Unis, qui l’ont placé sur leur liste des sanctions pour son soutien présumé au régime syrien.

«Je considère que ces accusations sont soit une erreur, soit une provocation. Étant donné que j’ai déjà souffert moralement, mes avocats vont porter plainte pour réclamer 50 milliards $», a déclaré M. Ilioumjinov au quotidien russe sportif Sport Express.

Les Etats-Unis ont accusé fin novembre Kirsan Ilioumjinov, 53 ans, d’avoir des relations financières avec le gouvernement syrien et le Trésor américain l’a inclus sur une liste de personnalités sanctionnées pour leur soutien à Damas.

Sous pression, ce richissime homme d’affaires a annoncé dimanche qu’il déléguait la plus grande partie de ses fonctions à son numéro deux et qu’il se retirait de «toute opération légale, financière et commerciale au sein de la Fide».

«Je n’ai jamais eu et je n’ai pas d’intérêts financiers ni en Syrie ni en Iran», avait-il auparavant affirmé, lorsqu’il avait appris qu’il était inscrit sur la liste noire du Trésor américain.
